| News: UK Video Game Chart: Pikmin 3 slumps, isn't Wii U's saviour
Added: 05.08.2013 9:37 | 3 views | 0 comments
The Wii U exclusive drops from No.2 to No.15, as Minecraft holds on to No.1.
But it's disappointing news for last week's No.2 Pikmin 3, which can't manage an equally strong second week, bombing out of the Top 10 to No.15.
The Last of Us sales dropped only two per cent, which was enough to see it climb one place to No.2, while Animal Crossing: New Leaf recorded flat sales and also climbed one place to No.3.
Football fever is starting to sweep the nation once again, which helped FIFA 13 sales soar by 33 per cent and jump two places to No.4. Ubisoft's The Smurfs 2 rounds out the top 5, with sales up 115 per cent thanks to the movie's release.

Limitless Pint Sized Fun!
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (AC:NL) is the latest entry in the saga, and the first one made exclusively for Nintendos 3DS. This Sims meets Furries life management game has done so well for the Japanese game maker that it helped to raise the companys stock even with the Wii U tanking. That accomplishment speaks volumes about Animal Crossing: New Leafs street-cred and word-of-mouth factor, which are the main reasons behind this mobile titles success, and admittedly why Entertainment Buddha decided to pick it up well after its initial launch.
